Chesterfield teacher found not guilty in student assault case

CHESTERFIELD, VA (WWBT) - Patrick Simmons, a Chesterfield teacher accused of assaulting a student at Tomahawk Creek Middle School, has been found not guilty.

The charges stemmed from an incident during a fire drill during which Simmons was accused of pushing three students against wall when they did not obey his directions.
