RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - As Hurricane Florence creeps closer to the U.S., residents in Central Virginia are preparing for possible effects from the storm.

NBC12's Andrew Freiden interviewed the National Hurricane Center Director Ken Graham on Monday morning.

Graham says that historic flooding is a possibility in the Richmond area if the storm system stalls out in the mid-Atlantic.
