PAGE, VA. (WWBT) - An off-duty sheriff's deputy and his wife were killed Sunday evening while riding a motorcycle in Page County.

According to WSIG, Frederick County Sheriff's Deputy Randall Hensley and his wife Missy were riding their motorcycle around 6:40 p.m. on Route 340.

A pick-up truck crossed the center line, sideswiped a jeep in front of the couple before hitting them head-on, WSIG reports.

The two were pronounced dead at the scene.

The crash is being investigated.
