The Richmond Ambulance Authority teamed up with Richmond SPCA to provide a little stress relief and help some animals in need at the same time.
The "Pets for Paramedics" program brings the animals and emergency responders together for a little bonding time.
Paramedics and adoptable animals will get together each month as part of the program.
For Friday's launch, five animals were involved – dogs Bernie and Magoo and kittens Lemonade, Smoothie and Kombucha.
