Ambulance catches fire on Chippenham Parkway

RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - A mechanical issue led to an ambulance catching fire on south Chippenham Parkway near Jahnke Road on Thursday afternoon.
Richmond fire responded to the blaze around 2 p.m. and extinguished the flames.
The ambulance was with a private company and there were no patients inside at the time.
