Police investigating armed robbery at Rite Aid

CHESTERFIELD, VA (WWBT) - Chesterfield Police are investigating an armed robbery at a Rite Aid that happened Tuesday night.

Police were called to 4205 Beulah Road around 9:30 p.m.

Officials said a man went into the pharmacy, showed a gun and demanded money.

The man got away with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The man is described as African-American with a thin build, standing about 6 feet 3 inches tall, with a scruffy beard and a tattoo on his neck. He was wearing a black t-shirt and baseball style hat at the time of the robbery.

No one was injured during the incident. Police are investigating.
