Man arrested in Ashland convenience store robbery

ASHLAND, VA (WWBT) - The Ashland Police Department says a man faces two charges after an armed robbery Monday night at a convenience store.

Police say the suspect - identified as 24-year-old Yasaba Wills - entered the store on North Washington Highway with a gun and demanded money.

The suspect fled with cash and was later arrested in a nearby motel.

Wills faces charges of robbery and use of a firearm in commission of a felony.

He's being held without bond at the Pamunkey Regional Jail.

No injuries were reported in the incident.
