FIRST ALERT FORECAST: Flood and storm threats

It's a First Alert Weather Day for FRIDAY, August 3.

There's both a Flash Flood AND a Severe Storm Risk on what we think will be the last day of this very wet pattern before we finally take a break this weekend.

Here's the flash flood watch:  it includes some counties that Weren't in the watch as of late last night.  Heavy rain this afternoon could produce MORE flash flooding.

And here's the risk map from severe storms later today:

Today's severe storm threat is mainly for Strong Winds although we can't rule out a tornado warning today.
