Virginia team in Idaho for environmental competition

JAMESTOWN, VA (WWBT) - A team of girls from Jamestown High School are trying to win scholarships in the Envirothon.

The girls are in Idaho competing against 50 to 60 others teams from around the U.S., Canada and China in the National Conservation Foundation Envirothon.

The team first competed in Dominion Energy Envirothon, which is series of outdoor competitions testing knowledge of soil, trees and aquatics among other environmentally focused topics.
