STAFFORD, VA (WWBT) - A woman wanted out of West Virginia was caught in Stafford on Tuesday when she tried to steal a jar of Play-Doh, according to the sheriff's office.

Deputies spotted the woman "displaying unusual behavior" at a Target on South Gateway Drive. She was holding a black purse and a jar of Play-Doh and appeared unsteady on her feet.

They saw her leave the store without paying, so they took her into custody. They say she gave a false name when they asked for her identification.

Investigators say the suspect eventually gave her real name: Ciara Dakota Ratliff. They determined that the 24-year-old woman was wanted out of West Virginia.

Investigators also found marijuana and other drug contraband in her purse.

Ratliff is charged with with felony shoplifting due to multiple prior offenses, as well as being intoxicated in public, identity theft, false identity to a law enforcement officer, possession of marijuana and fugitive from justice.
