Neighbor saves 2 people from Chesterfield house fire

CHESTERFIELD, VA (WWBT) - A house fire in Chesterfield sent three people to the hospital Saturday afternoon.

At 2:30 p.m., Chesterfield Fire says they were called to the 9000 block of Quinnford Boulevard off of Willis Road, for a report of people trapped in a house fire.

When crews got on scene, flames were coming from the home.

The two people inside were already out.

Their neighbor was able to save them from the burning home.

It took crews about 25 minutes to get the fire under control, and they are still investigating.

The two people inside the home were taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

They suffered burns and smoke inhalation.

The neighbor who helped them was also taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
