RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - A Richmond man faces robbery and gun charges in connection with a homicide on Saturday on Richmond's south side.
Additional charges are pending against John B. Harvie, 57, who surrendered to detectives on Sunday night. Police believe Harvie knew Katherine A. Wiglesworth, who was found dead Saturday evening in a parking lot behind a church on Warwick Road. Police say she suffered an apparent gunshot wound.
A medical examiner will determine the cause and manner of the Amelia Court House woman's death.
This is the 14th homicide of the year in Richmond.
