Man robs Henrico pharmacy with silver handgun

HENRICO, VA (WWBT) - Henrico Police have released surveillance photos of a man they say robbed a pharmacy on Thanksgiving Day.

The robbery happened around noon at the Rite Aid in the 5500 block of Lakeside Avenue. Police say the man pulled out a silver semi-automatic handgun and robbed the clerk of cash and prescription medicine. No one was injured in the robbery.

The suspect is about 30 to 40 years old, 5'8" to 5'10" tall, weighs between 200 and 225 pounds, has blondish hair and a thin mustache. He was wearing a brown baseball hat, a brown zip-up jacket and blue jeans.

The photos are from another business the suspect frequented, according to Henrico Police.
