RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - As the Commonwealth prepares for the presidential election on Nov. 8, groups are preparing to assist voters who have problems at the polls.

The ACLU staff will take calls at (804) 644-8080 and respond to emails sent to through Election Day.

Top potential poll problems the group will be monitoring include voter intimidation and voters not aware of the 2013 mandate requiring voters to bring photo ID in order to vote.

ACLU officials encourage anyone to immediately contact them with poll problems so they can quickly work to resolve the issue.

Coming up on 12News at 5, Stephanie Robusto has more of what you need to know if you run into any problems on Election Day.
