Chesterfield family offers $10K for information leading to son's killer
CHESTERFIELD, VA (WWBT) - Chesterfield police detectives continue to work hard to find James Mosley's killer. They are hoping a new development will help in that effort.
Family members of James Patrick Mosley are offering an additional reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for his homicide.
Mosley was shot outside his Bridget Court home back on November 12, 2010.
"Give us a call. It can't hurt," said Master Detective Chris Rizzuti with Chesterfield Police. "It may lead to closure for his family and lead to getting a killer off the streets."
Police say witnesses described seeing a black male wearing a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt in the area at the time of the shooting, as well as a dark-colored vehicle leaving the area at a high rate of speed.
"What we are doing is really relying on the community to please come forward with anything they might have," said Detective Rizzuti. "Even the slightest detail may lead to a new lead."
Police are now launching a new social media campaign called #JusticeForJames.
