RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - When Trevor Dickerson decided to pop the question to his girlfriend, he knew he had to do it in a unique way.
So, he invited Katie Jones to Ardent Craft Ales, where the couple first met, under the guise of a business meeting, but the presentation she saw on the TV screen was actually a surprise wedding proposal.
He used his media connections, including NBC12's Curt Autry, Sabrina Squire, and Andrew Freiden, to share the breaking news of the impending engagement. Even former NBC12 meteorologist Samantha Roberts lent a hand from Ohio.
Of course, Katie said yes when he came out and popped the question.
