Campbell deputies search for suspects involved in Saturday home invasion

CAMPBELL, VA (WWBT) - The Campbell County Sheriff's Office is searching for the suspects involved in a home invasion early Saturday morning.

Deputies responded to a home invasion that happened an area off Drummer Street around 2:22 a.m. Officials say the homeowners woke up to the sound of three men breaking into their home. They were all wearing masks, and one of them had a handgun.

The suspects demanded money and tied up the victims while searching their home.

Deputies say a man was shot in the leg, and his injuries are not considered life-threatening.

The suspects ran away with an undisclosed amount of money.

Deputies describe all three suspects as black men, and they say the man holding the gun is between 5-feet-8-inches tall to 5-feet-10-inches tall.
