Credit card thief racks up fraudulent charges in Hanover, Henrico

HANOVER, VA (WWBT) - The search is on by Hanover authorities for the man they say made hundreds of dollars in fraudulent purchases from several stores in Hanover and neighboring Henrico.

According to Hanover Sheriff's Office, the suspect used the stolen credit card at the Best Buy store in the 7200 block of Battlehill Drive, charging over $1,100 in various electronics to the card.

After that, detectives said the card was used at the Walmart store in the 7400 block of Bell Creek Road, totaling $626. Hanover Sheriff's Office said the card was also used in Henrico.

The suspect is a black male with a shaven head, wearing a light gray or blue zippered fleece jacket, a black shirt with white lettering and blue jeans. The suspect arrived and left in the four door, dark colored vehicle.
