WILLIAMSBURG, VA (WWBT) - Republican vice presidential candidate and Indiana governor Mike Pence is scheduled to make another campaign stop here in the Commonwealth, making a trip to the Hampton Roads area.

According to the Trump-Pence website, Pence is scheduled to hold a rally outside The Capitol at 500 East Duke of Gloucester Street in the city on Tuesday, Sept. 20.

The property is adjacent to Colonial Williamsburg, but is not a Colonial Williamsburg event, the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation said Monday.

The rally begins at 7:30 p.m., but gates will open beginning at 4:30 p.m.

As Pence campaigns in Virginia Tuesday, his Republican running mate and presidential candidate Donald Trump will be speaking in North Carolina, holding events at High Point University and in Kenansville, North Carolina.

Late last month, Pence made a surprise stop in Richmond, visiting popular Richmond eatery Millie's Diner on his way to a Virginia State GOP Committee meeting.
