Electronics, jewelry stolen during South Richmond daytime burglary

RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - Richmond Police detectives are turning to the public for help finding the suspects who broke into a South Richmond home in broad daylight and made off with valuables.

The crime occurred just after 11:30 a.m. on Sept. 14 in the 6100 block of Westower Drive, just a short distance from Forest Hill Avenue.

According to police, a surveillance camera at the residence captured two black men pulling into the driveway of the home in a gray, four-door sedan. The men then made their way behind the home and forced their way inside through a rear door.

Once inside, detectives said the men stole electronics and jewelry before fleeing the scene.

Richmond Police has already identified one of the two suspects in the case.

The second suspect is described as a black male in his 20s with a medium build, wearing a blue polo shirt, red, white and blue striped shorts and white sneakers at the time of the crime.
