1,000 new words added to the Oxford Dictionary

(WWBT) - The latest edition of the Oxford Dictionary is out, and it has some interesting new additions.

More than 1,000 new words and phrases have been added to the Oxford English Dictionary.

After years of social media use, YOLO is now official. It is an acronym meaning "you only live once."

A few more highlights are: 'Merica, scrumdiddlyumptious, non-apology, freemium, and fuhgeddaboudit.
