Multiple agencies search for suspect wanted on felony warrants in Greensville

GREENSVILLE, VA (WWBT) - Several law enforcement agencies are involved in a manhunt for a suspect whose wanted on several felony warrants in Greensville.

According to the Greensville Sheriff's Office, they are searching for Logan Dean Adams, who is wanted in connection with a series of breaking and entering cases around the county.

Authorities are focusing their search along United States Route 58 (Courtland Road) near James River Junction (Route 623), just outside Emporia city limits. Along with Greensville Sheriff's deputies, resources from Virginia State Police and nearby Emporia Police Department are assisting in the search.

Adams is described as a white male in his late 20s, weighing approximately 170 pounds with blue eyes and blonde hair.

Greensville Sheriff's Office warns those who may be driving in the area of U.S. Route 58 that Adams may be hitchhiking along the roadway. They ask drivers not to approach Adams and to call 911 or the Greensville Sheriff's Office immediately at 434-348-4200.
