No one injured after fire at Richmond uniform rental company

RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - A fire at an East End business called Richmond firefighters in to action Saturday evening.

According to Lt. Christopher Armstrong with Richmond Fire, a call came in around 9:30 p.m. for a fire at 1321 Oliver Hill Way, the location of Domestic Uniform Rental.

Crews arrived within minutes and made entry into the building, eventually finding two laundry bins and several racks of clothes on fire. Firefighters went to work to knock down the blaze and the fire was marked under control by 10 p.m.

Armstrong said that the building was not occupied at the time and there were no injuries, adding that damage to the building following the fire was not major.

A cause of the fire has not been revealed.
