HENRICO, VA (WWBT) - Henrico Police are searching for the suspect they say held up a Staples Mill Road bank Saturday afternoon.
According to investigators, around 3:40 p.m. Saturday, a black male walked into the First Virginia Bank in the 7000 block of Staples Mill Road and announced that he was carrying out a robbery.
Police said he did not display a weapon during the crime, but he kept his hand under his shirt as if he was holding a firearm.
After robbing the institution of an undisclosed amount of money, investigators said he fled on foot across the parking lot.
The suspect is described as a black male between the age of 22 to 26 years old with short cut black hair, a thin build, standing 5'11'' to 6'1'' and last seen wearing a yellow t-shirt with dark colored striped athletic shorts and white sneakers
