Two behind bars after meth lab, heroin found inside Chester home

CHESTER, VA (WWBT) - Two people have been arrested after a search warrant on a Chester home yielded evidence of methamphetamine manufacturing and heroin use.

According to Chesterfield Police, 31-year-old Robert Orndoff and 24-year-old Kayla Brumfield were taken into custody shortly after Chesterfield HAZMAT crews and county police descended on a home in the 3700 block of Dalhart Court, just off Old Centralia Road in Chester Wednesday afternoon.

Chesterfield Fire and EMS along with Virginia State Police assisted at the scene of the search.

Police confirmed that Orndoff was arrested and charged with manufacturing methamphetamine and possession of a controlled substance. Brumfield was charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance.

Both are behind bars at Chesterfield County jail.
