LAKE BUENA VISTA, FL (WWBT) - Video showing a Walt Disney World employee fending off an alligator at Splash Mountain has recently resurfaced. The video, which was uploaded to YouTube back in July 2009, shows an alligator trying to get out of the water as tourists floating on log flumes were looking to see what was going on.
The video resurfaced after 2-year-old Lane Graves' body was found in the Seven Seas Lagoon after being attacked by an alligator. The toddler was staying at the Grand Floridian while on vacation with his family.
Inside Edition reports "Disney World ignored warnings that guests were feeding alligators at the park and areas along the lagoon" where the boy went missing.
Several videos have been posted to YouTube of guests feeding alligators all over Disney World.
There have been 24 fatal alligator attacks in Florida since 1948, according to Inside Edition.
