RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - "Never throw away food." That's the lesson a local volunteer says she learned from her grandmother who survived near-starvation in a concentration camp during the holocaust.
That lesson wasn't lost on her own father, who started an area food bank to help prevent people from going hungry.
For more than 30 years, Annabelle Toth has been following in the family's footsteps. At the Jewish Community Center, friends applauded as NBC12 helped surprise Annabelle Toth with our "Acts Of Kindness" recognition!
