RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - Presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump is coming to the Richmond Coliseum Friday.

Local Democratic party leaders are looking to get out ahead of the planned protests. The message is simple: No one needs to go to jail.

"He has a right to come here," said Richmond Democratic Committee Chair James "JJ" Minor. "But he isn't welcome here."

Protesters shouting "Black Lives Matter" were physically removed during Trump's last Rally at the Richmond International Raceway.

"We don't want Donald Trump as our president," said Minor who has a message for protesters. "Keep it peaceful. He's a billionaire, but he is not worth going to jail for."

One group plans to bring roses for Trump. The idea is to hand out white roses in solidarity with the original White Rose Society that organized to stop Hitler.

There is no way that man is a racist," said Don Blake with the Virginia Christian Alliance.

Blake was an original Ted Cruz supporter who says he simply has to vote for Trump.

"Staying at home and not voting for Trump is wrong," said Blake. "You are voting for Clinton when you do that. You are voting for pure evil is what you are voting for. I think Hillary is an evil woman."

Minor doesn't pull any punches either when it comes to Trump.

"He's egotistical. He's obnoxious," said Minor. "We just can't have someone like that running our country. It's a total disgrace."

Minor notes protesters have taken to city streets before with no reports of violence. He expects the same this time around.

"We want a peaceful protest," said Minor. "We want peace, love, joy and happiness to radiate throughout this city.

Protesters will start gathering around 5 p.m. Friday.
