RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - Richmond Police needs help in identifying a suspect who stole money from a Walgreens in the city's Southside last month.

Officers responded to the store at 1214 Westover Hills Boulevard on April 19 around 6:24 p.m. Police say the suspect went up to the register to pay for an item. When the employee opened the cash drawer, the suspect leaned over the counter and grabbed an "unknown amount of money."

Officials describe the suspect as a black man wearing "a blue flat-brimmed hat, a gray hoodie with a green block design on the front, a red shirt, and blue pants."

He was last seen leaving in a burgundy-colored sedan.
