RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - Richmond Ford raffled off a free car at the Central Virginia Race for the Cure Saturday on Brown's Island.

It was Angie Deffenbaugh's first time walking in the Komen race in Richmond and she told Andrew Freiden she almost didn't make it to the race.

"My car broke down on the side of the road last night. The engine smoking. Just in a bind," Deffenbaugh said on Saturday.

Deffenbaugh, a recent breast cancer survivor, won the 2016 Ford Focus.

"I was just so appreciative to be here in the first place, much less win a car," she said.

Congratulations, Angie!
