VA sheriff's deputies concerned for missing girl's well-being

AMHERST, VA (WWBT) - The Amherst County Sheriff's Office is searching for a missing teenage girl.

15-year-old Courtney Paige Moats, of Madison Heights, was last seen at her house around 10 p.m. on Thursday.

Deputies describe her as a white girl with dark hair and blonde highlights, blue eyes, and scarring on her arms. They say she is around 5'3" and weighs around 119 pounds.

She suffers from medical conditions, in which deputies say they are concerned for her well-being.

Anyone with any information on her whereabouts is asked to call the Amherst County Sheriff's Office at 434-946-9300.
