Police bust alleged robber at fast-food restaurant in Henrico

HENRICO, VA (WWBT) - Police busted an alleged robber in Henrico Wednesday night.

It happened around 10:30 p.m. at the Burger King located at 8000 Brook Road.

Officials say the suspect, identified as Naim Kashif Watson, attacked a manager, and a bystander called 911 to report a possible robbery happening and a description of Watson's appearance.

When police arrived on scene, they happened to see a man walking out of the restaurant matching the description they were given. Upon arrest, police say they found a firearm and some money on him.

He is now in custody and is charged with robbery, use of a firearm, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and discharging a firearm in a public place.

The manager was treated and is expected to be ok.
