HENRICO, VA (WWBT) - Henrico Police are looking for a man who robbed a business and caused a shopping center to evacuate by leaving behind a suspicious package, then returned to the scene of the crime days later.

Police were initially called to the 4700 block of Finlay Street to investigate a robbery at the Check Into Cash at 3:23 p.m. on April 15.

They found the suspect left behind a suspicious package and evacuated the surrounding businesses. The Henrico Explosive Ordinance Unit determined the package was inert.

Witnesses say a man about 6 feet tall and approximately 160 pounds, wearing a tan jacket and a painter's mask, fled the scene in a brown Chevrolet sedan.

On April 18, the suspect returned to the business around 4:16 p.m., but was unable to get inside because the doors were locked. Police say he fled in a tan Chevrolet Impala, but the suspect had covered the license plates.

Anyone with information about the suspect is asked to call Henrico Police at (804) 501-5000.
