British man takes selfie with EgyptAir hijacker wearing 'bomb'

LARNACA, CYPRUS (WWBT) - A British man, faced with a life-or-death situation, decided to take a selfie and send it to his friends, according to the Daily Mail.

"You know your boy doesn't f*** about. Turn on the news lad!!!" Ben Innes messaged to a friend with the picture.

Innes - a health and safety auditor - seemed calm as he took the photo with Seif El Din Mustafa, who was wearing a "suicide belt" that turned out to be fake. Authorities reported that the hijacker likely had personal motives, telling negotiators he wanted to talk to his ex-wife, who lives in Cyprus.
