LOUISA, VA (WWBT) - The United States Geological Survey has confirmed a 2.3 magnitude aftershock on Sunday.
It happened around 4 a.m., eight miles south of Louisa, Virginia.
In 2011, a 5.8 magnitude earthquake hit Central Virginia, damaging buildings in Mineral and shutting down Louisa High School and Thomas Jefferson Elementary School.
