RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - The 2016 Virginia Motor Trend International Auto Show is revving into town at the Greater Richmond Convention Center, this weekend.

The auto show sports dream cars from a $488,000 McLaren, to the latest model Camaro, equipped with an Apple CarPlay, allowing drivers to control iPhones by voice command.

"The McLaren is sure to grab anyone's attention. From a performance standpoint, it will go zero to 60 mph in 2.9 seconds," described Jason Wilson, the auto show's manager, of one of the fastest cars in the world, currently on the display floor.

Another crowd favorite is a pre-production classic Lincoln Continental model. The 2017 prototypes aren't yet on the market, but car enthusiasts can get a glimpse this weekend.

The auto show features hundreds of the latest cars with cutting-edge technology.

If getting an up-close look at rows of amazing vehicles isn't enough for you, you can zip-line across the top of them. All visitors are allowed a free zip-line ride.

The show runs from 1Friday through Sunday, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. each day.
