Amelia Sheriff's Office searching for 'armed and dangerous' abduction suspect

AMELIA, VA (WWBT) - The Amelia County Sheriff's Office is searching for a man they say is armed and dangerous and is suspected to have abducted a 67-year-old woman.

The sheriff's office is looking for Dana Lee William, 43, who is believed to have abducted Olene H. Brooks.

William is 6'5", 240 pounds, bald and has brown eyes. He is believed to be driving a 2010 Silver Dodge Caravan with license plate 433114. He was last seen wearing a red shirt and jeans.

Brooks is 5'4" and 160 pounds with brown hair and green eyes.

At 11:15 p.m. Thursday, the sheriff's office responded to an abduction call in the 17000 block of Poorhouse Road where the body of a 67-year-old male was found in the same area.

The identity of the man and information about his death has not been released.

No additional information was available on Saturday morning.
