PETERSBURG, VA (WWBT) - Alexander Hill, Jr. the man accused of the murdering a beloved family, including a young child, was indicted Thursday morning on four counts of 1st-degree murder by a Petersburg Grand Jury.
Pauline Wilkins, her daughter Vicki Chavis Ansar, along with granddaughter Tanique Davis and great grandson Delvari Chavis were found dead in a burning home April 19, 2014. Since that time, suspect Alexander Hill disappeared for a year. He was interviewed by a New York television station, in disguise, where he was getting assistance from a soup kitchen. He was quickly arrested and returned to Virginia.
His first court appearance has been set for December 22.
