Crews respond to Powhatan barn engulfed in flames

POWHATAN, VA (WWBT) - Fire shot into the sky in Powhatan on Wednesday after a barn became fully engulfed in flames.
This happened in the 4400 block of Old Buckingham Road around 6:30 p.m.
Crews worked for hours to get the heavy flames under control. We're now waiting to hear if anyone was hurt or if there were any animals in the barn.
No word on what started the fire.
