Chesterfield police arrest man connected to Wells Fargo robbery

CHESTERFIELD, VA (WWBT) - It happened around 11:30 a.m. at the Wells Fargo located at 9601 Amberdale Drive, which is not too far from the Hull Street Rd. and Courthouse Rd. intersection.

The suspect entered the bank, displayed a handgun and demanded money, according to police. The suspect, 28-year-old Justin G. Chamberlain, fled the scene upon receiving the money. Police found him at his home in the 4100 block of Paulhill Rd., which is about a 10 minute walk from the bank.

He was apprehended without incident, and he was charged with robbery and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.

He is being held at the Chesterfield County Jail.
