RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - The 2015 Richmond Marathon will start early Saturday morning, which means several "no parking" zones and street closures.
The 8k race will start at 7 a.m. at the intersection of 8th and E. Broad St. The half-marathon will start at 7:30 at the 7th and E. Broad St. intersection. The marathon will start at 7:45 on 5th and Grace St.
Several "no parking" zones along 5th St. between Byrd and Tredegar Streets will go into effect at 7 a.m. on Friday. There will also be several road closures on Broad St. between 12th St. and Boulevard starting at midnight on Saturday. There will be other "no parking" zones that will go into effect at 3 a.m. on Saturday.
There will be several other street closures that will go into effect on Saturday at 4 a.m. The closures will impact major roadways, like Belvidere St. and the Huguenot Bridge.
