Richmond Police release photo of Wells Fargo robbery suspect

RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - Richmond Police are searching for the man who robbed a Wells Fargo Bank in Carytown on Monday.

The robbery happened around 9:20 a.m. in the 3500 block of West Cary Street. Police say the suspect entered the bank and passed a note to the teller saying he was armed. He then left with the money along West Cary Street toward Nansemond Avenue.

The suspect is described as a man in his late 20s. He was wearing "glasses, a cloth winter hat and overalls" at the time of the robbery.
