Police: Reports of robbery at Chesterfield Wells Fargo

CHESTERFIELD, VA (WWBT) - Chesterfield Police are investigating a robbery that occurred at Wells Fargo in Chesterfield.

Police say around 10:45 a.m. Saturday a white male wearing dark clothing entered the Wells Fargo in the 7300 block of Jefferson Davis Highway.

They say he handed a note to the teller demanding money, and escaped with an undisclosed amount of cash.

He was last seen on foot headed south on Jefferson Davis Highway.

The suspect is described as a white male, about 20-30 years old and 5 feet 6 inches tall. He had a thin black mustache, two facial piercings on his upper cheekbones and a distinct tattoo on his right hand.

He was wearing dark-colored pants, a black jacket and a black baseball-style cap.

Officers tell us no weapon was ever displayed and no one was hurt.
