Students and faculty can expect extra security when they arrive Friday morning.
A picture of a gun was scribbled on a bathroom stall in Colonial Heights Middle School with a date of November 5. As soon as administrators learned of the threat, they began investigating and bringing in police.
The principal says they do not believe that this threat is eminent, but they will be adding extra security.
The school attempted to do automated calls home to parents, but there was a glitch in the system so they posted a message on the school's Facebook page.
Certainly a lot of uneasiness if you read the comments of parents, concerned to allow their children to come to school Friday.
Another threat has Goochland High School on alert. The sheriff will be there Friday morning for added security. The superintendent also does not believe the threat is credible.
