This Saturday, you can be transported to Moulin Rouge and the glittering nightlife of Paris. The Virginia Museum of Fine Arts is inviting you to Artrageous.
It's a night of live music, Can Can dancing, h'orderves and cocktails in the VMFA's sculpture garden, honoring this summer's Art of the Flower Exhibit and this fall's Rodin exhibit.
Proceeds will benefit ARTshare. Explains Julee Spitzer with Artrageous, "A major digital initiative that the VMFA has taken on to put all of the permanent collection as well as the educational resources online so they will not only be available to people in Virginia but worldwide."
The Underground Kitchen is holding a special dinner at the museum to benefit Artrageous, but that's already sold out.
Said Micheal Sparks, co-founder of The Underground Kitchen, "The fine folks at VMFA have asked us to come and curate an evening that was very French inspired in conjunction with Artrageous."
You can still get tickets for the Artrageous event this Saturday through the VMFA website.
