Two checkpoints tonight in Richmond near VCU

RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - The Virginia Commonwealth University Police Department will conduct two administrative checkpoints this weekend. Officers will be checking drivers' licenses and registrations.
The first checkpoint on Saturday, Aug. 22, will be operational on the 800 block of West Franklin Street from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m.
The second checkpoint on Sunday, Aug. 23, will be operational on the 700 block of West Main Street from midnight until 3 a.m.
The checkpoint is funded by a grant through the Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles.
