Richmond named #1 summer travel destination by American Express Travel

RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - American Express Travel compiled a list of the 10 most popular American cities to visit this summer - and Richmond topped the list.

They say the James River is a prime location for locals who flock to Belle Isle, to go swimming, fishing, mountain climbing, mountain biking, and whitewater rafting.
