Legislators consider Governor's budget vetoes today

Breaking news: A man was shot on Fairfield Avenue in North Richmond around 10 o'clock last night. Police are searching for the shooter, but say the victim is not being cooperative. Curtis McCloud is reporting live on the scene.

Virginia lawmakers return to the capitol today to consider Governor McAuliffe's budget vetoes. The Governor vetoed an amendment requiring him to get the legislature's approval to expand medicaid. It takes two-thirds of both legislative chambers to override a governor's veto.
