Multiple firearms stolen from Petersburg gun retailer

Petersburg police are investigating the theft of multiple firearms from a gun retailer Sunday morning.

Around 11 a.m. Sunday, police said, an alarm was triggered at the Dunbar Gun Company in the 200 block of N. South Street. Police said several rifles and shotguns which were said to be antique and unique were stolen.

Police canvassed the area with K9 units, and now the ATF is involved in the investigation.
