Cause of Richmond recycling plant fire under investigation

RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - Investigators are trying to determine the cause of a fire that broke out inside of the Richmond Recycling of Virginia plant.

The flames broke out around 1:15 a.m. in the 2500 block of Decatur Street, according to Richmond Fire investigators. Crews found heavy smoke and fire when they arrived on the scene.

No one was inside at the time. The fire caused significant damage to the plant.
